i7 7800X is admitted?

yep it has 6 physical cores

i believe it can not be the intent of the competition to have LN where HW mon shows 0 as idle 0 as under load while an external monitor shows -52 C as qualifying result.

The hexa core stage has no temperature restriction.  LN2 and dry ice temperatures are legit.  That much cold may not be needed for 5300MHz, but does not violate any rule.  In fact, I believe that temperature monitoring is not needed in this stage, only the core clocks.  Leaving the temperature monitor on in this stage only causes confusion.

Thanks Jab38. seems in confused the discussion on the rules on the forum. Will bring out the Dry ICe shortly :-) this 3C chiller is doing a good job but not enough relatively :-)

I use ln2 because the loop is mounted on a vga and having no restrictions I don't remove it

Only temp limit for the legacy stages on the processor. All the other stages are  just limited in clocks...
